Women’s Cancer Camp

All about our Women’s Cancer Camp.

The Women’s Cancer Camp is a free, medically supervised weekend retreat created especially for women of color who have been diagnosed with any type of cancer. Hosted by Faces of Courage Foundation, this special weekend offers a safe, supportive space to rest, recharge, learn, and connect with other women who truly understand the cancer journey.

Campers will enjoy gourmet meals prepared onsite, creative arts and crafts, wellness activities, educational discussions, meaningful celebrations, and opportunities for honest conversations about life during and after cancer. The weekend is designed to reduce isolation, strengthen emotional well-being, and build lasting connections in a joyful, judgment-free environment.

The camp is held at Rotary’s Camp Florida, a beautiful, fully accessible facility with air-conditioned cabins, meeting halls, dining facilities, and peaceful outdoor spaces.

Registration for the Women’s Cancer Camp will open on August 7, 2026.

Although this camp is offered at no cost to participants, a credit card is required at registration to hold your spot. A $100 no-show fee will be charged after the camp is over if a camper does not attend and has not canceled at least 72 hours in advance. This policy allows us to use our donors’ dollars responsibly and ensures that as many cancer survivors as possible have the opportunity to enjoy this camp experience.

Please note that Faces of Courage does not cover travel costs. If you are flying in and would like to be picked up at the airport, please arrange to fly into Tampa International Airport on Friday before 3:00 PM and schedule your return flight on Sunday after 1:00 PM. If you are unable to arrange flight to arrive during these times you are able to hire a Lyft or Uber a at the airport.
